Shanghai Ohkawara Dryers Co., Ltd, founded in 1996, is a Sino-Japanese joint venture enterprise featuring Spray drying technology by Ohkawara Kakohki Co., Ltd and China Shipbuilding NDRI Engineering Co., Ltd. So far more than 1000 sets of spray dryers has been installed in domestic (until Feb, 2023), which apply to pharmaceutical, food, fine ceramic, ferrite, hard alloy, soy Isolated protein, collagen, spices, pesticides, etc.

We have obtained ISO9001:2015 quality management certification and GB/T29490-2013 IPMS certification. We also won the title of “Shanghai High-tech enterprise”, ”New special expertise SME” and ”sci-tech-typed SME”.

Our main product, spray dryer, is a system by using rotary disc or pressure nozzle for atomizing the feed into micro-droplet (which significantly increases the surface area) and get the droplet dried by full contact with hot air in a short time (a few seconds). Powder products can be collected directly with spray dryer.

Except for tradition spray drying, spray dryer can also be used as spray granulation, spray cooling, spray crystallization, spray pyrolysis, spray fluidized-bed dryer, spray micro-capsule, etc.
